This is a solid chair and well built. Easy to assemble following the given instructions. The reason for my average rating is that as a large person I am wide. The width between the armrests is just enough that I can squeeze into the chair. It doesn't take long though for the flat bar steel armrests to start pushing into my thighs making an extended stay in this chair very uncomfortable.
The Commodore II is one of the best modern office chairs I have used. I come from the old school when it comes to executive type office chairs. High Back, no pneumatics, etc. But, this chair really changed my mind. It is stong and sturdy with great rollers, excellent pneumatics and good firm feel. It is not fancy with a lot of adjustments, but it is very well designed and executed. Highly Recommended, especially for larger people. Also, the delivery speed was excellent and the customer service was great. The assembly took about 30 minutes with help from another person.
