I contacted the vendor Vision Decor for more information on this item because their website has the same picture but describes the chair as a vinyl chair. I asked if the Vision Decor chair is the same chair as the one Amazon is describing as a Leather Office Chair. Vision Decor confirmed that the chair is not leather but is, in fact, vinyl.
When I saw this on Amazon and read some of the reviews, I thought, "wow, I can buy this and have a really classy looking chair for a deal of a price." Honestly, I'd rather I had my money back.
The "leather" really doesn't look like leather. It looks faux. Honestly, I think its wrong that Amazon would even list it as "leather," w/o some kind of disclaimer or explanation. The chair isn't comfortable to sit in. The seat springs don't offer little cushion. Also, you can't lean your back much.
It looks like a pretentious, cheap imitation of a classy chair.
For the price (including shipping) I'd be content if it were comfortable to sit in or looked a bit better. Unfortunately, its neither comfortable nor that great to look at.
By the way- It arrives in a massive box. I couldn't fit it through my door. I had to open the box outside and bring the chair in piece meal (it was raining so this was urgent). The packing made a huge mess- Lots of styrofoam packing panels and pieces that broke up as I unpacked it. No chance to repack the chair and send it back if you don't like it. The box comes apart piece by piece. You can't "open it" take the chair out and put it back in if you don't like it.
